It would be nice to be able to combine wind energy with solar energy on a small scale, Afcourse that on the large scale environmental damage is inevitable, why build Gigantic wind turbines? and huge solar plants? when we can go small , just imagine every household have they little wind turbine and solar panels on their roofs, we know that that is the future , technology is there! but big corporations would loose billions of dollars, at least that is what they think ! why it is so expensive to get your roof covered with solar panels today? Is because these people are greedy bastards, they think that their oil and coal empires would collapse if they would alow us to do so , but the truth is, if they invested their billions in renewables, they could profit more billions just by selling us these Technologies at reasonable prices, not mentioning how many jobs would be created in order to keep up with unbelievable demand! everyone would be happy, so not only that they would still keep their greedy pockets full, but at the same time they would contribute to make this planet cleaner !!! They are not just greedy bastards their are stupid ignorant greedy bastards that don't give a shit about you me and this beautiful planet

Don't forget that commercial wind turbines are 2 MW in size, the cost of the utility scale for it is $1.3 to $2.2 million (meaning how much it costs to manufacture the turbine), and the cost for the installation of the turbine is $3 to $4 million. At the maximum cost, one commercial wind turbine can cost up to $6.2 million. And there are thousands of commercial wind turbines out. And I know someone out there is going to argue against me about it over this simple comment but, before you do. This is not about how much it costs for a wind turbine to produce kilowatts per hour. This about how much it costs to create and install them. Which is ludicrous to think about. These are not home wind turbines nor farm scale wind turbines. These are the commercial, huge ones here. That is what I am addressing.

Wind turbines are ugly?! I love them! They are like big white moving sculptures that show that one can make something big and clean in the middle of a dirt field. Inspiring!

Yes wind turbines are loud, and in predictable of if they might fall. BUT they are still good. They might kill birds and bats, but there is a solution!! People made a turbine that is a TREE!!!!!! The turbine blades are leaves! So birds AND bats can sit comfortably on it, without getting killed. And its not loud.
