It's a shame the American Public and it's pliticians now think NASA is a only a waste of tax money. Kennedy would not be proud of the current state of the U.S. Space Program
-
Those were the days.
-
This was in 1961, not 1962, genius.
-
And where are we 50 years later?
-
Dizzo95, can I use this footage for a movie?
-
Hey, if the landings were real, couldn’t we just bounce a laser or something off of the corner reflectors left by the astronauts? Oh, wait we’ve actually done that.
-
Also Wikipedia is not a valid source. Start at Wikipedia but use its sources to verify. You only sound like a moron citing Wikipedia.
-
I like that you call us brainless yet you cant spell numb nuts. Suspicious*
-
Yes they would expend more on sending lander legs to the moon and the rest of your bullshit to fake the moon landing when they could spend HALF the money it would take to just go there. BTW we didn't send a LANDER to mars we sent ROVERS to mars.
-
@arzadi11 Go to a university with a large Telescope. Tell them to point it at one of the landing sites. YOU WILL SEE THE LANDER LEGS DUMB SHIT!!!!!
-

@Bmills1194 Hiya I am giving credit where credit is due, Sputnik was an American achievement and the Soviets followed closely behind such as John Glenn being first to orbit then followed by Gagarin in his tin can. The Russians relied on captured German scientisits to come second wheras the US used all-american know how
-
@PhantomUAV If I may interject here, Russia had a great space program providing real competition to that of the USA. Many of the "firsts" in the space race were accomplished by Russian cosmonauts such as the fist maned flight in space. I'm not saying that America didn't have a great space program, just that Russia was a real competitor and had a real chance of winning. Give credit where credit is due.
-
@1499Erick whose the pig you idiot? I bet you believe whatever so called history books tell ya. My father was a newspapaer reporter in the 1950's and he reported (correctly) that all of Russian attempts to launch ended in flames on the pad. GO USA!!!!! GO USA!!! Death to Obama Bin Laden!!
-
@PhantomUAV wth if you are going to be such a nationalistic pig at least get your facts straight, the sputnik was a Russian satellite! also the Russians were first to even get a man in space.
-
