Hi Paul, love this film. I own several Pc books, Hemenway (blew my mind), Kiko Denzer, Toensmeier, et al. I live in _Bavaria just up the Autobahn from Sepp Holzer's place. If you ever need any German translating let me know - I speak their lingo.

I love Paul but I have to point out the BS in this talk. "Passive solar requires you to rebuild your home". Come on Paul that's total bullshit. Ever heard of solar air heater panels? How about a solar shed? A rocket mass heater uses 10% as much wood as an efficient wood stove? Yea right. Annualized thermal inertia isn't passive solar? Well if the sun heats the ground and that's transferred to the house, that's exactly passive solar.

paul, I was hoping you would start singing the lollypop song when you were talking about fruit trees

He mentioned about a natural swimming pool. It made me think of Frank Lloyd Wright's waterfall house in Pennsylvania. The house had a natural pool that had a pipe that ran from the stream up river that slowly filled into the pool and at the other end had a small hole where the water went out into another pipe and into the downstream. The water in the pool was rather cool. Maybe there could have been a wrapped around piping on the upstream time with a small stove.

thank you for being against cfl. My oldest child suffer from sensory disorder and CFL causes serious effects.

I wish the cameraman would have kept the camera on the screen more as Paul was saying what was on it. Good presentation, but terrible, terrible camerawork. Some slides we don't see at all.

Fact: Antarctica ice mass has tied or broken daily all time ice levels records as of 8/1/14. Nsidc and Nasa have confirmed and explained this is no error, these are legitimate readings. Global change is a more accurate term. Extreme warm temps in some areas and cold in others. Some say we are headed towards a ice age.
-
I feel I would have understood better if the camera had stayed with the powerpoint.
