People Behind Den's Tea - The Matsushita Tea Farm

At our introducing Organic Fukamushi Sencha, we would also love to introduce the Matsushita Organic Tea Farm where this delicoius tea was grown. Shizuoka is the largest tea production prefecture in Japan; however, there are few tea farmers with USDA organic certification. The Matsushita tea farm is one of them. The Matsushita family has grown great organic green tea in Kakegawa, Shizuoka for decades. They have a passion for tea quality and the earth's ecology. That is why our parent company, Shirakata-Denshiro Shoten, selected their tea leaves to process for our delicious Fukamushi Sencha. They are a wonderful family and Den's friends.
