Paraguay farmers demand land reform
Thousands of Paraguayan farmers have gathered outside the country's Congress in Asucion to vent their frustration at President Horacio Cartes, who they say has failed to deliver on land reform promises. In Paraguay, arable land is in the hands of the few and multinational companies control most of the soy bean and beef industry - the country's main products. Cartes took office nearly eight months ago but has yet to make good on land reform promises. Al Jazeera's Rachel Levin reports from Nuati.

Politicians want money & power- they don't usually care about the people's needs. That''s what's wrong with the world today in governments & so called democracies. The people must keep as they are doing & rise up to fend for themselves. Don't let the politicians & their cliques take all the money & resources away from the people.
