Freeworld Production under the leadership of Paul Gatere produced this documentary to help the local people understand the importance of alternative food sources for our growing population. The crop can be grown in any part of the country provided the required environmental conditions are induced. Many youth groups started the project and they are supporting themselves financially. This particular one is training on how to grow Oyster mushrooms. There is another feature under freeworld production that is training on growing of Button Mushroom in our country Kenya. I love oyster mushrooms, I grow them on old newspapers and phonebooks I get from my neighbors when they don't want them anymore.
