The organic way would be to pasteurize the straw with heat, not chemicals. I understand from the way she is working outside basically on the ground, she needs to be aggressive but those chemicals are basically formaldehyde and commercial fungicide .

Definitely NOT organic. The things she is using to clean everything with are pretty nasty chemicals. Do not do it this way.
