Oyster Harvesting - Bedeque, PEI
Oysters are known to inject passion into your life, but we think it's partially due to the person who plucked it from the waters. There's a man in Prince Edward Island whose passion for oysters has him out at sea at the age of 82 and he'll tell you without missing a beat that he'd rather be there than anywhere else. Minimum oyster sizes are 3 inches not 4 as mentioned by Clifford in the video.

Were can one buy the rakes? I am in New Hampshire and have worn mine out. They are very hard to come by down here.

I am from PEI and have fished for over 35 years,twice as long as Mr Bernard and the size is 3 inches minimum, 3 1/2 inches is considered large choice.
