Organic vs Conventional Farming

I'm wondering how many of these so called ag warriors are actually farmers or have been in the agriculture industry. I am 25 years old about to take over the family beef farm but converting to grains, I only want to go organic because that's where the markets are shifting, having friends in the area who've gone completely organic it's easy to see their yields are far lower and quality isn't the greatest but depending what the future markets good they are still on the right track. As mentioned, I will try organic but I'll be ready to switch to conventional depending on how well I succeed.

Organic can definitely be done and it can definitely feed the world. Organic doesn't tax the land. Don't til it and cover crop it. Make sure that there is always a living root in the ground for endomichorrizae to live off of and your soil won't leech nutrients like nitrogen phosphorus potassium and magnesium. 1 tsp of tilled farm soil contains tens of yards of michorrizae. 1 tsp of untilled farm soil contains tens of miles of michorrizae! That holds tons of nutrients! Urine is as good of a fertilizer as any other nitrogen source when broken down by bacteria. Herbivores' poop is even better because it has a wider range of minerals. Leaves make a great fertilizer because they have 11 out of the 15 necessary minerals for plants to live. Wood ashes provide lots of potassium calcium and magnesium for plants. A study was done where three groups of tomato plants were tested. The control was given only topsoil to grow in. The organic one was given a mixture of urine and woodash , and the conventional was given the same amount of a well know npk fertilizer. The organic grew 4x the weight of tomatoes as the control while the conventional had 5x the weight of tomatoes as the control. Another test was done to show that the urine used as fertilizer without the wood ashes did the same as with the ashes. I believe that the wood ashes were leached of their potassium before they ever got the chance to be taken up into the plant by getting wet and draining off(potassium is water soluble in ashes), therefore, the tomatoes could've produced EVEN MORE than the conventional if the wood ashes were treated right. This is just a hypothesis though, so it might not work out. Nevertheless, we should teach this Shit to people who can't afford to buy fertilizers.

the earthy hippy organic movement is the greatest bamboozle in agriculture. Just investigate the facts. If we employed organic hippy farming practices...theres a good chance the world would be dying of starvation. Thats a fact.

this certainly is misinformation?

This video claims to not be biased, all it is is biased. Using biological control as an alternative to pesticides can be just as harmful to the environment in a different way by disturbing local food webs. And GMO is not necessarily bad. There is currently no evidence that it causes cancer, and extensive research has been done into this, so people who claim that is does are basing this entirely on their own opinion and not on facts. GM foods could in fact help to achieve the yield of conventional farming, with fewer negative environmental impacts. More research definitely needs to be done in some areas of GM, but dismissing it altogether off the bat is prejudice and unjustified.

Organic produces 2/3 that conventional does. So it let us to concluded that organic would not be able to feed the world - I say that it's wrong because your VDR is of 2000Kcal and the daily kcal intake per capita in USA is 3770, Austria is 3760, Italy is 3660, Nigeria is 2710, India is 2300. Not even talking about the amount of kcal we taking in organic has a lot of ways to improve your yield.
