Have you tried growing taro in the swampy area?
-
I like your work, both the garden and the video.

Thanks for uploading the video!
how is the azolla pond doing?
I especially like the beekeeping videos you will have to up date us when you decide to harvest. -
Thanks for doing all the things you do, I'm sure we all agree on that, I like your setup and cant wait for an update on how things are growing only wish I could come over and help, see you in the Monsoon....Haha

Are you going to collect rainwater now that the rain is coming, or do you have enough just from your well?

That pot out of bamboo is a wonderful idea. :) I don't have any bamboo around here though but maybe I can find something else with a similar shape and open top/bottom to use. I will have to put my thinking cap on I guess. :)
I hope you don't have too much issue with flooding. We just had some serious floods in my town and the surrounding towns. Many people lost their homes and all their belongings. The only thing I lost was the internet and cable service for about 40 hours and for that I am very thankful. There were also some that lost their lives and I am also thankful that neither I nor my immediate family/friends are all okay.

David, I have a question for you, that is off the topic of gardening, if I may ask.
Since your environment has change so drastically from where you were three years ago. If you get sick, have a medical emergancy, do they have up to date hospitals, local to you, to take care of you. To me, the area you are in looks prehistoric.
Just wondering. Cheers -
Things are looking better now David. Will the monsoon come next month in your area?
Good luck and take care and be well. All the best Patrick -
Thanks for showing us around. It'll be interesting to see how things go -- it's such a different place I'd expect that everything is an experiment. Fukuoka spent some time in India; it'd be nice to know what thoughts he had on growing rice there as compared to Japan. Clover is a big part of his system, but there would be more and different options in the tropics.

You have a lot of room for planting. Good Luck with everything. Can't wait to see the update.
-
Good luck with all your plants, and I really enjoyed this type of video/blog, keep em coming.

Good luck with all that interesting stuff David. I'm hearing you say it's hot - but I'm looking out at rain and we're going around with hats and coats on in May.
Roughly whereabouts are you again?
