don't compost! spores will multiply!

What about angular spot? Should the cucumber plant be torn out?
-
I use compost tea-medicine stage! works in my hydroponic system. I did not feed(blackstrap molasses) for two weeks and found powdery mildew on squash & snow peas I sprayed the squash not diluted, and added 1/2 gal to 18 gallon tub and it stopped it! It has disappeared and not spread to the snow peas. It had gotten on one snow pea plant that I removed but not on the one I left for seed because it branched to 4 stalks, and I want the seed from this healthy plant.

Did it work out?

What happens if 90% of your leaves have powdery mildew? I can't pull every leaf off!
-
40% Milk + 60% Water.....google it. Been tested since 1950s. The milk fat kills it. I just learned this today and just started applying it on my squash.
-
If you walk with the CleanLight through your crop, you can reduce powdery mildew quite nicely. So, no chemical residue on your plants !
-
do a cannabis friendly vid. smoke weed.get high
-
they say baking soda and water works sprayed on leaves. Also milk sprayed on leaves is supposed to work too.

hi John. According to Peaceeful Valley( groworganic ) Overhead watering does NOT cause Powdery Melde and neither does humidity. Those are myths. It is caused by warm days and cool nights0 and spores.
-
Thanks man. Didn't know what to do with these nasty white spots.
-
Keep up the great work!!! Thank You

Did the Actinovate work on the powdery mildew? I just planted cucumbers about a week ago and they already are starting to get the mildew, help!!!

keep on growing?

Neem oil will prevent any new mold growth, but its expensive and has to be reapplied every 7-10 days. Some dish soaps will kill foliage when used as an emulsifier in my experience. Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) will also kill foliage or stunt growth. I use the pro-tekt instead as emulsifier or you can also use regular dishsoap. Any foliar application high in potassium or silicone like the pro-tekt or a kelp extract solution helps boost the plants immune system and helps prevent mildew attacks.

sulfur dust @ home depot. for indoor, I think the most important cause of mildew are environmental factors, you need to apply your foliar sprays and watering or feedings when the lights come on to allow more time for evaporation, make sure plants aren't overcrowded, make sure you aren't over watering (if you see green algae on the soil surface you're watering too much), have proper air circulation and ventilation with no stale air pockets - try to keep the relative humidity in the 50-60% range.
-
"Elemental sulfur is one of the oldest fungicides and pesticides. "Dusting sulfur," elemental sulfur in powdered form, is a common fungicide for grapes, strawberry, many vegetables and several other crops. It has a good efficacy against a wide range of powdery mildew diseases as well as black spot. In organic production, sulfur is the most important fungicide. It is the only fungicide used in organically farmed apple production against the main disease apple scab under colder conditions."

Hi John, have you tried baking soda/water/veg oil sprayed on?
-
hydrogen peroxide should control it but you will never stop it ......

One cup skim milk "Fat Free" Unless u like it stinky. To every gallon of water. Spray your plants and BAM u should be good in a few day's. If it is stubborn use a little more skim milk. Peace
