4. Here is my take-away as the editor of this... Laura Ling is the best host/producer I ever worked for in 20+ years as an editor/camera op.
   The UN Office of Drug Trafficking is with them and, they presumably, fund the alleged traffickers indirectly. (food program etc)
   The producers of Opium want to be perceived as Philanthropic and helping local economies. Your mileage may vary. But yes these are dangerous people/places with any kind of bodyguards trained or un. and you could easily end up in a ditch or worse.
5. haha you guys need to relax you cant go into these places and peoples lives act like they are criminals and scare them and stuff. what is even the point of that. you would get better footage if you gained their trust
