It certainly makes for a gross visual when you read that over a million cockroaches have escaped from a breeding farm in Dafeng, in the eastern province of Jiangsu, China. That sounds like it should be a schlock/horror film along the lines of Sharknado - maybe Roachnami (Roach Tsunami). I was going to ask why breed them but looked it up (Remember: Google can be your friend!). They are bred as feeders (primarily for pet reptiles like geckos), like crickets.

Actually you wouldn't want to "stamp out" los cucarachas - the females often carry fertilized eggs with them, that then will stick to your shoes, having you carry them home...
