When you say that the houses have zero value after 20+ years.. the prices of the land must be sky high. But then again, that is perfectly understandable.. Not much land to begin with.
-
That was a nice fall you took there at 6:44 . Nice recovery too.
-
You did a really good job to hide the wires!
-
Not a bad concealment at all.
-
It looks nice!
-
I agree with you.
-
Woooow, what quickly you move!! Jaja
-
It looked quite nice after you used the spray gun LOL

You'd probably have to pay for the land, as 0srob said (which is expensive) I think they rebuild houses every 20 or so years because Japan is so prone to earthquakes, it becomes unsafe to live in them for safety. You then need pay for demolition+build the new building which may end up being more expensive.

I had seen SO MANY bad a/c installs in japan that I thought they may have been DIY'ed by the owners. Obviously it's not the case. :)) It's those slack tradies! btw: Did you have to pay much extra for the extended piping?
-
You have a lovely home!
-
If the house is still there it won't be valued at zero, but the land is where the real value is at land prices are expensive in Japan.
-
what about using a simple window unit instead? cutting a hole for the WU is easier than going thru all this I feel.
-
AMG I will come out and fix this shit for free. MY OCD BEGS ME TO.
-
Awesome both video and your work are. I don't have air conditioner in my apartment so summer to me is every year like hell. I can't leave my electric fan placed really close to myself. lol
-
I'd have a breakdown if they put ugly wires right on top of my walls like that.
-
The way he ran the electrical wiring is unbelievable. @2:12 there is no way that exposed circuit breaker and wires meet code in the US and is dangerous in any country. @8:00 the wire feeding the plug is not to code in the US. It must either be in the wall on in a hard conduit. Compared to the exposed circuit breaker it is much less likely to be a hazard. It is Japan and, of course, they can adopt whatever building code they like. Still, I would require the electrical to be done differently

nice job with the house!
-
I always want to ask why Japanese suburban does not not give the feeling of a rich, developed nation, in fact i feel their house really old and out date? I means no offend just curious.
