Hello everyone! Here is a short video of a local steel coil train passing through Dearborn, Michigan, on the ex-Michigan Central mainline, on its way to the Rouge River industrial area. I couldn't do much railfanning this weekend as I was busy, but I did catch this train while running some errands. This train is one of two local trains on the ex-Michigan Central mainline, along with an autorack and the occasional manifest train. Michigan Central was a subsidiary of the New York Central and its mainline ran from Detroit to Chicago. Today, it is owned by Amtrak, which runs four daily Wolverine Service trains to and from Pontiac and Chicago. This line is relatively quiet as well, with an average of about 6-8 trains a day, so I was lucky to catch this train. Hope you enjoy the video! - Norfolk&Western475 (N&W475).
