News : Relief for farmers after government announces waivers

Farmers across the country will be looking forward to a happy new year following an announcement of a series of waivers by the Finance Minister Njeru Githae. Speaking in Kirinyaga county the minister and his cooperatives counterpart Joseph Nyagah said that coffee, sugarcane, rice and maize farmers will benefit from waivers amounting to over 40 billion shillings.
