Neighbor cooking

Our neighbor from China turned a portion of his place into a cooking area. My room is right beside his "dirty kitchen" and so all the smells of frying fish, pork, beef and spices have nowhere else to go but here. Also, with the ventilation cut off (the upstairs neighbor covered the ventilation, I guess to prevent the smoke from getting to them), the heat is unbearable. We have to have our fans (yes, plural, a total of 4) going 24/7 just to bear the heat and the smell.
