Navdanya Farm Tour
Navdanya is an NGO in India dedicated to preserving biodiversity and indigenous knowledge. It is a seed bank, farm and educational facility accepting visits, volunteers and interns from around the world. Dr. Vandana Shiva is a physicist, author and activist promoting models of permanent culture, preservation and peace.

I was only there for 2 weeks, but I keep in contact with several of the folks I met there. The place and people left a strong impression on me. Glad you liked the video!

Loved your video! I lived in Navdanya for like 4 months? I can see Federico, Ricardo, Sunil, Judith, Dough... so many memories! how long did you stay in the farm? it's an awesome place, isn't it? :)

English works fine, but some of the staff speak less than others. A good Hindi pocket dictionary and some patience goes a long way. The Navdanya website has a guide to the general etiquette for interns, volunteers and visitors.

when you were there did you have to speak a lot in their language or you were easily able to communicate in English
