I rate this as the best climbing experience so far. There is so many good bits about this trip. First the train train journey via KTM from Kuala Lumpur up to Dabong - we had our own sleeper beds. Then upon arrival in Dabong the next morning we were transported in a 3 tonne truck which was nostalgic to any RMC boy. Having climbed from the foot of the hill we were greeted by a beautiful waterfall acclaimed to be the highest waterfall in South East Asia. Then the camp fire that night. And in the morning we were greeted by one of the most spectacular sun rise I have ever seen. Climbing up to the peak was not straightforward, as it was the start of the monsoon season. What was a small stream when we were going up, swelled up to be a monster on our way down. We left the mountain in the dark and arrived at our friend Sajay's house late into the night. Next day there was more surprise as Sajey took us for a memorable visit up north. By far the best hiking trip I've experienced not to mention the company. Thank you 'Superfriends'.
