Lucky bastards. When I was that age we had a thousand and six of us all living in the comma at the end of a sentence, up six hours before we went to bed, just so we could march the long road to Mordor and take a lottery to see who would be thrown in the fires of Mt. Doom. Then back home where our dad would beat us to death with each other–twice, if we were lucky– and then to sleep on a bed made of disgruntled porcupines.

We used to dream of living in a corridor 😂

I'm laughing just as much at the comments section as I was at the video! Well done folks.
-
I was blessed with a perfectly normal life and am not going to play Misery Poker with the comments section.
-
Luxury. I used to have to watch videos on YouTube and read the comments sections...

They had it easy!
We used to have to be awake and dressed 509 years before the beginning of time, give birth to each other, invent the cosmos in order to unilaterally propagate matter, and eat a single grain of rice for the sustenance to exist for another millennium! -
hey :3 if you need some free royalty music for your videos (music that can be monetized ;D)or just some good new music, click my name or my image if you dont need, delete this message and excuse me =D

Live from the Hollywood Bowl if I'm not mistaken.

They were ahead of their time. This sketch is the equivalent of check your privilege
-
Privilege. We used to live in an igloo inside the volcanic center of the earth. We had to swim through the lava every morning until we hit the earth crust and then chew our way through to the surface. We had a handful of molten lead and when we got home oua dad would gas us to death with evaporated mercury.
-
Luxury! We had to vote in the 2016 US election!
-
I've always wondered if they 'get' this kind of humour around the world or is it just a Brit thing?

I would love to see the opposite of this. 4 guys talking about how rich they are and all the things they could buy
-
I was born with a conjoined twin attached to my back so I couldn't sleep after 76 hours of working as a garbage man and lived under a napkin. Our dad would cut off our legs for food and not let us eat it. We would wake up three hours before going to bed and ring out our napkin with our stub legs. Check your privilege .

I don't think I have ever laughed this hard
-
I share this sketch on FB whenever anyone whinges about "kids today don't know they're born..."
-
You had tough? My dad used to work at sports direct
-
the original version of "check your privilege"
-
This sketch was originally in At Last The 1948 Show (which a few of the Cambridge Pythons were originally in, the Oxford Pythons had been in Do Not Adjust Your Set) . I imagine this had never appeared in any form in Flying Circus, then, when it showed up in Monty Python live shows in the 1970s.
