Mojave Desert ( Amargosa River Trail )
This is a hike on the Amargosa River Trail near Tecopa California. We picked up the trail from the China Ranch Date farm witch is worth a visit by itself. We hiked along the river for a little while there were lots of Quail in the reeds. We followed the trail to a pretty neat slot canyon witch was made up of Rhyolite rock. Whenever I go to that area its mandatory to visit the Tecopa Mud pool too :)

If you go keep on the trail past the slot junction sign and continue a half mile or so and there is a neat waterfall.Totally worth a visit.

Really cool slot canyon. Now I want to go check out that area after watching the video. I want to visit the China Ranch Date Farm too. I saw that on the map and was wondering what that was.

@bapyou Yes there were alot of different colors in that area lots of animals too. the Amargosa River is neat.

@PHARRAOH There is lots of BLM land around Tecopa that you can camp for free. I have yet to find a sweet spot though : )

Yep gotta love that place. I like all the different foods they make at the date farm. The cookies are fantastic.
