Mộc Châu in early Feb 2012 Background music : Time to move on (Tim Petty) & A good way to run (Darryl Worley) Cos of my limited SD card memory, i missed the scene of our lively warm conversation with the H'Mong women and kids in Lóong Luông village as well as the large field of spinach filled with its dense white flowers on our way. The tea farm hill had just been harvested so we didnt see much of the new leaves, just branches -.- The special grass field for milk cow was just before the planting process so it was a lil bit messy. Plum flowers has begun to blossom. Best time to see all the best of Mộc Châu is around the late Feb or early of March. the 200 km from Hanoi to Mộc Châu is pretty long but i think it's worth travelling by motorbike like us (it takes 8 hours including lunch time and some breaks for photoshooting). If you ever come here, never forget to stop at Quán 64 (Restaurant 64) to get some gift back home. Most are specialties of Mộc Châu. The coolest gift is packaged dried plums!!!!! Its brand is Manmocchau, i dont know if other brand is good.
