Wow.... Humans are awesome....
-
This Looks 100% like an Old An Bonus Wind Turbine ;D.
-
this video is so cool
-
americans and the metric system...
-
how do you know if your land is suitable for these. Perhaps farms in Missouri are suitable?
-
Blighting what remains of our rural scenery, one obnoxious tower at a time. https://www.google.com/search?&q=wind+power+backlash+scenery

lol soo much fossil energy to build one turbine. Ridiculous !
EROEI is very low.
Energy Return On Energy Invest should be the way to mesure efficiency of these structure. Plus they build this on concrete ! It need to be build on granit to last at least 100+ years with low maintenance !
That's why these structure always need government subsidy, without government money its not profitable :( -
Such a scam on every level. I feel sorry for the people who have to live around these eco-monsters.
-
The cost of this electricity is higher than fossil fuel generated electricity. Another Obama boondoggle!
-
Why can't we have Hydrogen gas Electrical Generation Stations.... the emissions from the burnt Hydrogen gas is h2o and o2....go figure... Simply Electrolysis...
-
Seeing this doesn't make me very hopeful. Why can't we focus on local smaller scale wind and solar? I'd love to have a small scale helical rooftop wind generator to supplement my PV system, and use my EV for battery storage. Regional systems that don't require the excessive costs of transmission lines, right-of-ways, etc. These mega projects feed into the corporate / financial system which is way too prone towards corruption and malinvestment. We really need to localize our future.
-
Also metric units please...
-
Try doing this without fossil fuels!
-
After 4 seconds, that knocking and racket in the background gets really annoying. Otherwise, it's a great video.
-
Wow! There must be tremendous carbon dioxide emissions associated with all that concrete, other materials, and frantic transportation and construction activity.!
-
Whats the cost per turbine?
Do you profit from them directly or do you just sell them to the Government or other Energy companies -
People where I live actually protest these claiming they sound like jet engines.....seriously.
-
This is so fascinating! But what's nearly as fascinating is why more than 300 individuals would "dislike" this. Oh, because they think climate change is bullshit.
