Meet your Meat, the Barbarity of Halal Slaughter
This video starts by showing the Western humane "Bolt Gun" method of instant slaughter. The remainder of the video then shows the Islamic Halal method of slaughter. Halal is the Sharia Law prescribed method of ritual killing involving the cutting of animals throats and letting them bleed to death. Halal killed animal products are being pushed into the mainstream consumer production of animal stuffs and taken up by the likes of Mc Donnalds and other well known fast food outlets. Well said Dennis Chang... Just because a method is old or steeped in religion doesn't necessarily mean that is should remain the primary method of achieving the end result. The fact that there are more improved methods available that cause virtually no pain or discomfort means that by not using them people are now choosing to cause the animal more stress and discomfort than is necessary. I bet they drive to the slaughter house rather than walk as that is the most efficient and technologically advanced method of transport. Why not afford the animals the same privileges.

Couldn't even watch two minutes of this video, the screams of those young goats (very smart, social and playful animals by the way) were horrifying and made me cry. Their suffering is just as bad as the suffering of a toddler being decapitated and surely the cruel and ignorant promoters of this slaughter method think that such an act against a child would be justifiable?

this is cruel the animal is still clearly aware of what is going on around it and it knows that it is dying a very slow and painful death I HATE HALAL FOOD i was going to switch to it becuase i got told it was slaughtered in a nicer way but now i have seen this i am NEVER EVER touching this AGAIN and i think it should be banned
