Matthew Seed - The Horse Photographer - Chinese Year Of The Horse - Horsemanship Magazine China

Matthew was asked by Horsemanship magazine, China's leading equestrian magazine, to produce a front cover image for their February 2014 edition. As this issue was to celebrate the commencement of the Chinese New Year of the Horse, Matthew approached Team China equestrian, Alex Hua Tian, to photograph him and his horses. The front cover image was captured outdoors at Alex's new yard in Cheshire and features Seal, owned by Sarah Higgins, dressage rider, and Edwina Qu Ye. Matthew and his team then headed indoors to photograph Alex Hua Tian riding his eventing horse Tonto., with the Chinese flag flowing from his saddle, which created some stunning images to celebrate the Chinese Year of the Horse. http://www.horse-photographer.co.uk http://alexhuatian.co.uk http://www.horsing.org
