I feel terrible for owning multiple Canada Goose coats that are trimmed with real Coyote fur now.. Such a terrible existence for those animals. Never buying fur again. I'm already a vegan btw, so at least I have that :)
-
I just don't understand people who can wear fur. Disgusting.
-
to make a comment against the fur trade , first you must live a vegan lifestyle selective compassion is wrong ,
-
Thanks Martha Stewart for taking a stand and being a voice for animals... well done, impactful, a timely and lasting message...awesome

Money and corruption. That's all this sick industry is. I'm actually starting various protests at my school to help people to see the way and to use synthetics.
-
SO WRONG. I FEEL SICK

I WOULD NEVER FEED MY DOG A SIDE OF CRUELTY MURDERER

Trappers are no friend to animals either. Animals caught in traps suffer immensely, often dying a slow death. Land mammals like foxes are vulnerable to predators, while animals like otters and beavers can drown in these traps. The most compassionate thing we can do for animals is to not kill them.

Why don't you fucking look at your chicken factories you idiots, your showing foreign fur farms not your average run of the mill AMERICAN fur trapper. We have laws to protect the animals. Those who do not follow the laws are criminals, same as a person who chooses to speed in his car.

wait.... so you mean to tell me..... that you guys are a nonprofit organization. but! you save animals just to advertise them???? dafuq

It has to do with the nervous system rather than the ability to express pain. Plants do not have the complex systems that animals do. Just as you do not feel a thing when your hair or nails are cut, neither does a plant.

Dogs are omnivores rather than carnivores. My two pit bulls went vegan about eight months ago and my girl who had suffered from a little arthritis is livelier than ever.

@Michelle...you just keep placing your body parts in wrong places..now you need to get both feet out of your mouth

@1958davegr...I am sick of people like you making your trolling comments about PETA...PETA was a pioneer in the welfare of animals and when a heavyweight for a cause is needed who is there ?? PETA, of course as they have since it's inception...go troll somewhere else I personally don't want to hear your crap, hater!!

Actually, dogs can be vegan (for the most part) quite easily. There are many great vegan dog foods out there that supply dogs with everything they need to be active and strong. Cats can be more of a struggle, but we've heard of many cats eating vegan successfully. We just ask that people do what they can, when they can. You can find more on this topic at PETA.org. Thanks!

We can't and have never forced anyone to do anything. We present the facts and let people decide for themselves. We work hard for animals, and promoting veganism is one of the best ways to do that. You're right, greed has changed farming practices, but so has a growing population. Eating meat just isn't sustainable. It's not only bad for us and animals, but for the planet and the global population due to its wastefulness.
