Lebanon's Hash Farms
Subscribe to VICE News here: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-VICE-News Cannabis cultivation in Lebanon's Bekaa Valley is an ancient practice that dates back to the beginning of recorded history. During the Lebanese civil war between 1975-1990, it provided funding for feuding militias and turned Lebanon into one of the world's largest hashish exporters. Today, Lebanon's feuding militias are still using drugs as a source of income. Under international pressure, the Lebanese government is cracking down on smaller Cannabis farmers while drug lords continue to act with impunity. Security forces confronting armed farmers defending their crops have lead to bloody gun battles between the warring sides. VICE News hung out with some of the farmers to learn about Lebanon's ancient hashish industry and see how crooked politicians are profiting from the chaos. Wtf was this video. Of course, beeka people are uneducated and ignorant lol. They complain about hezbollah burning their hash. Thats against our religion, there is no difference between hash and alcohol. Tbh, Lebanon is in pretty bad shape because of the war in Syria, this guy cant blame Hezbollah for all that is happening. Isis jihadist wanted establish their caliphate from Iran to Spain, obviously Lebanon was the next target after Lebanon. However, so now for Hezbollah to stay hands crossed and watch how Isis steadily comes to its ground seems as a bad idea, so they had to take action. At the end, bashar al assad wasnt a bad president and he was elected by the vast majority of Syrians. Because of him not being corrupt Syria had free education both secondary and post secondary education and it also had a system of free healthcare. We Lebanese people used to go to Syria to take advantage of their healthcare.
All the war that is happening now in Syria is purely because of the Us backing the jihadist and brainwashing the population. The innocent people that are dying in Mosul and Aleppo are caused by collateral damage, which is something they cant really avoid. -
man, the average budsize is awesome :)
