Kudremukh is a small town 95 kms from Chikmagalur and 350 kms from Bangalore. This is situated about 1800 meters above sea level. Kudremukh Town park is the best looking park in the town. It is full of many beautiful trees and rare medicinal plants. The park looks wild and deep green but attractive. There are many water fountains and waterfalls, small and large, in Kudremukh national park. Many of them are located by the road side and hence easily accessible. We halted at some of the roadside waterfalls and enjoyed the views. Hanumangundi Waterfall or Soothanabi Waterfall is the most important waterfalls of Kudremukh national park. You can see lots of water in the waterfall throughout the year. Please watch the beauty of the waterfall in the video. You can see the other interesting tourist points in Kudremukh like Kudremukh mountain peak, Road views, Kadambi waterfall, Lakya dam, Kudremukh Town Park and tea plantations etc. in this video. Kadambi Waterfall is another waterfall in Kudremukh national park visible by the side of National Highway. There was plenty of water in the waterall. The water passes the road under a bridge. This place was memorable for us a small monkey played with my mom for a long time. Please watch the monkey and the waterfall in the video. Lakya dam is not a dam of water; it is a dam of silts coming out of iron ore. Kudremukh is rich in iron ore. Lakya dam is a beautiful place surrounded by mountains at all sides. The white clouds on green mountains look extremely beautiful. You can see the beauty only in the video. Kudremukh area is full of tea gardens. It is so beautiful to see miles and miles of tea gardens. We halted at many tea gardens and enjoyed the beauty of the gardens. We also halted at a tea estate and took hot tea right inside the etate. It was a great experience to walk inside tea gardens.
