http://teapursuit.com A time lapse of tea field workers covering the green tea plants with porous tarps. When the plants leaves are newly budding, bamboo reeds or straw are then used in covering the plants. The tea plants are partially covered and only receive 10% of normal sunlight. This is used because there is so much rainfall, and also this partial shading increases the chlorophyll levels of the leaves, making them a brighter green.
