I'm glad to see that your pigs have their babies in a comfy spot instead of a cramped cage. Pigs are very intelligent and beautiful, giving them affection and a good long life is the least we can do. Free range pork is the best!

So helpful....took away a lot of knowledge from these videos.

Can I get some info about starting a pastured pig farm from you?

It's great to see pigs allowed to be pigs--at least for part of their life. Most see nothing but cement and iron, and the sows are separated from their litter by iron bars. Left alone, a sow will remain attached to its children for life, fixing their bedding every night. And one good, randy, productive boar is all you need. It's interesting to hear about the individual temperaments of different sows, which squares with the discoveries of many pig lovers. It's also gratifying to see pigs that are able to retain their great tails.

Your videos are great i have learned alot. I have a small farm and am trying to get it going on a shoestring budget. I have 2 hogs that are 10 - 12 mos old. I had them on pasture all last year but i'm finding it increasingly difficult to keep them in "their" pasture. The gilt no longer respects the electric fence and often the boar follows her. Do you have any suggestions?

Your videos are excellent. Much better and more useful content than anything else I have seen. Detailed information and tips based on real world experience.
Thank you - I know these are a lot of work to make. Your team has good film making skills. -
I agree with you, for the most part. However, you mention being concerned about what a pig eats before you get it, so you grow from within. But then the two main ingredients in your feed are the two most chemically altered crops in the United States; corn and soy. You kind of lost me there.

corn and soy is gmo unless you get organic and i honestly don't want to feed those. what else would u feed

Would like to ask if any of you have heard of a plant called yacon. Looks like a sweet potato, tastes like a fruit, grows from a rhizome and pigs in South America are crazy about it.
