A two trillion landmark compensation case against the British government for atrocities committed during Kenya's fight for independence is headed to the British courts. The case filed by more than 150,000 victims from the Kipsigis and Talai communities is seeking two trillion Kenya shillings in compensation and a public apology from her majesty the Queen's administration. The victims who were forcefully evicted from their land to pave way for tea plantations in the now vast tea estates of Kericho county met their lawyer who is also deputy president William Ruto's lawyer Karim Khan at Kericho green stadium to evaluate their evidence.
