Kenyan tea growers pursue higher earnings with purple tea
The UN Food and Agriculture Organization says prices of black tea may drop by as much as 40 percent by 2023 if producers around the world increase supply by about 5 percent. Orthodox black tea is quite expensive actually. Its just the CTC black that is cheap. Lots of green today is now CTC and may be just as cheap and some reports have not yet covered that.
