Tea farmers are set to harvest big from higher sales for the 2015/2016 period on higher production and a stable currency. Kenya Tea Development Agency, KTDA announced a record KSh 84B in revenues from KSh 63 billion last year. This comes amid heightened pay concerns leading to farmers in Thumaita Factory in Kirinyaga County burning a factory along with six houses belonging to directors of the factory.
