Hey Jim, Can you give me a price to produce and ship a wind generator (preferably utilizing the pma tech.). I'm located in a low-wind area of Florida (34652) which typically is a paltry 5-15mph If possible please produce pricing to be all inclusive (totals) and preferably with some options (in the event that we can't find enough cash for your super-duper model. Thanks. -kenny 727-277-8006

this is not a break through
-
@Hopeswake after burner is simple you dump raw fuel into the ass end of a jet and whaola you go faster
-
@playermodelz The guy invented the afterburner of a jet engine. That isn't a very simple thing to do. Obviously there is much more to the drawing than "a bunch of fans on generators."

Hear hear... William!
-
@gonhop thats the smartest thing i've seen anyone post in quite some time
-
I missed the break through, but I only watched it once. Was it the afterburner?

You can say nothing is new about what Joe is doing in a number of fields. It is how he applies it in detail. His water turbine is brilliant. Still a turbine yet brilliantly simple and elegant. A remarkable man. As a child, his parents were killed in a German bombing raid on Birmingham - their bodies were over him in the rubble. He stole a MIG jet in the Korean war in a raid to get one to see what it was like. These people have a lot to offer in logic to apply to matters. We must use him
-
those are the kinds of thing that look good on paper but not as good in real life
-
People like this are priceless gems. I think that his detractors are mistakenly lumping him along with the so-called ' Wacky Inventors '. And yes, Fakiir - he did invent the afterburner, while he was working for Rolls Royce. The guy is totally humble and merely goes about his business of doing what he loves and does best. It's a pity many with far less ability seem unable to come near his humility. If you happen to be in the company of genius, just take your hat off & try to learn from it.

7 minute ABS!
-
If you put 1 next to each other you can have them counter rotate so that the turbulence doesn't cause a problem. With 3, there is no way that the spin off of one isn't going to slow the neighbor down.
-
He,s talking also about load draw and kicking in and out generators to accomodate need. This would be more suitable for independant "per house" type application.
-
No disrespect but they,ve spent billions all ready errecting the existing mills.I dont think they would have gone this far on a "lesser"idea pertaining to wind generated electrical production.
-
funny how there seems to be a concerted effort to label new technologies as being not sufficient... or too expensive.
-
just make 1 tower with a bigger blade=easyer and less parts.
-
Good intentions, but no breakthrough by any means.
-
i have a breakthrough too! if everyone watching youtube has a chair with pedals that create electricity, we could power hundreds of homes.
-
Unfortunately I can confirm this statement is true. The surrounding turbines suffer from greatly reduced efficiency. You'd be better off building multiple towers, with correct spacing
-
I hate to tell you all , but..........this has been thought of many times before. it is nothing new. the only advantage of this system is building a single tower over several. if it were an efficient way of doing it they would be doing it. and by the way he has his blades drawn tells me he don't know much about wind power. I do I design and build wind turbines on a daily basis. :) P.S. maybe he should stick to jets, I can tell i am gonna get a lot of nasty replies...lol
