Japan tea farmers - Walking in Japan 日本茶農家 - 日本でのウォーキング
My name is Kurt Bell and I am delighted that you have taken some time to share a little of the experience of life with me. I'm available on social media at the links below and can be reached via email at dinnerbytheriver@gmail.com Follow me on Twitter: https://twitter.com/softypapa Find me on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/LylesBrother On Google+ https://plus.google.com/u/0/109050782163582511388/posts Instagram: http://instagram.com/softypapa LinkedIn: http://www.linkedin.com/pub/kurt-bell/b/416/754 My blog: http://softypapa.wordpress.com ---- THE PATH OF WILDNESS The Path of Wildness is easy to find The course of a stream Leaves blown in the wind A beast's track through the brush And the direction of our first inclination The Path of Wildness is an answer and response to a prescribed way of life which may leave some individuals with a sense that their living is little more than a series of pre-determined, step-like episodes between birth and death. The stages of living between these events: childhood, adolescence, adulthood, parenthood and senior are themselves natural and in accord with the needs of the species and most individuals. Many find their satisfaction in living this course and to these individuals I have little or nothing to say. Others though long for something more; something innate, genetic and seemingly calling. Adventure and change can give a degree of satisfaction and relief yet even these may seem too tame. To those who feel drawn to something beyond the entertainment and stimulation of senses I offer a walk along The Path of Wildness. Don't bother penciling the event in your schedule, preparing a pack with goodies and supplies or even inviting a friend along, for this experience is along the course of your first inclination and you must surely always go alone. Hi, there I live in Japan , country side. I would like to see things about Sasebo , Japan if you could share. Nice video by the way. I will be here for the next 3 years, so you have time thanks.

Wow, missed this one, nice one Kurt, always good to see every day things that you would miss as a tourist

Very neat set up for this wondeful video, Kurt! They deserve so many things, they work so hard. Agriculture is a painstaking thing but i maintain my own tomato garden at my mothers' hometown each year and i can't really describe how much joy i feel each time my family enjoys eating fresh tomatoes i planted, every year.
-
Interesting! I drink a huge amount of tea, but have never seen how it's harvested before. Thanks!
-
thank you for sharing these great videos! i'll never get to afford to visit japan so if this is as close as I'll ever get, i'll be ok with that
-
I Sadly only have time to Watch 1 Video and post 1 Comment before going to Work. But I just wanted to say that this is very different from other uploaders who are in Japan and that you have just gotten yourself a new Sub. I look forward to viewing your previous and future content.

Kurt, I think this is the first time I've ever seen one of your videos that showed one of those hillside trams in a working state. Every time you've shown one before it's been on an abandoned farm and the tram was disused. Now I finally see what they actually look like on an operating tea farm, heh.
-
Kurt, would you consider exporting some of your family's tea to your fans?
-
You're documenting peace-time rural Japan for future historians to enjoy!

Very interesting and informative. When I first saw these fields in Japan, thinking to myself I could not figure out why people would grow hedges so close like that. I did not know they were growing green tea, silly me.
-
That beginning part was awesome. I thought you were being a creeper up close but that zoom is beast.
-
any idea how much money can a small farm like that make?Im guessing enough otherwise they wouldnt do it,eh..lol
-

Your filming is very very good Kurt. A pleasure to view. Take care . . .

Hey how about making a long, "reality-show" like documentary, where you take your camera and go alone to the suicide part of the suicide forest, then you go deep in to it, set a camp close to the trail, set the camera on the tripod to film what goes on and camp there for the night. It would be so cool and scary, I'm sure it would be a huge success on Youtube.
