Japan's oldest preserved farm house in Kobe
This historical farm house at least dates back to the 14th Century, owned by Mr. Hakogi who was a village mayor during the feudal age. His descendants still manage this national heritage site. The house is composed of a main cottage(Omoya) and an annex(Hanare); Omoya is a typically frugal farm house but a rather noble annex represents the status of the owner family. This home was originally located at a nearby lakeside but was moved to the current location more than 20 years ago due to a dam construction.

Thank you, Clyde. This house is in the northen part of Kobe city, called Kita-Ku, which is a rather old-fashioned countryside type of place. Thanks for putting up with the sorry quality of video!
