My grandpa used bullocks before there were machines. Now we can cut, debark and cut to length with one machine, hardly a large footprint and nature heals quickly when left alone for a few years.

It saves having to remove enough forest and undergrowth to allow trucks and bulldozers into the forest. Take only the trees you want without destroying others. You don't think much do you?
