Italian Sausage Risotto | Jamie's Italy UNSEEN
This week Jamie turned 40 and as a birthday treat we’ve unearthed this little gem for him and you, to enjoy. Back in 2005, Jamie travelled across Italy to celebrate turning 30 and here he stops off in the Amalfi hills to cook a simple sausage risotto recipe. This never before seen footage shows a younger Jamie in a chance encounter that led to this being his favourite memory of the entire trip. Jamie got big heart on top of his passion for cooking. And, not every TV chefs have that combination. I think , Jamie can use it for something good such as organising all other famous chefs and cooks together and run free hot meals kitchens around UK for families at low incomes, kids , elderly living in poverty. Because, according to latest Government research, the millions of people in UK are victims of hidden poverty. It's when, after paying all bills or even some of them, families don't have enough money to buy food for themselves. Lots of kids go to school without lunch boxes or with only bread in them. The majority of such families don't come under category of people in need because they are working and ate not homeless. But, after paying all of their bills to keep roof over their heads, they and their kids deprived from eating healthy or at all, therefore , they malnourished . Why someone do something g about hidden poverty in UK?
