Here is a video on how I made tea, using a tea bush I grew from seed in my Wexford Garden. Growing tea. Camellia sinensis. From Douentza Garden in Wexford, Ireland.

Thank you for this video! I'm going to try and grow my own tea, seems really easy and it looks way better than store bought.

Outdoor? Great! I was told, tea loves it a bit warmer, than the weather usually is in Ireland, but well, well done!
Today i ordered my Mate Tea plant. we will see. -
Hmmm ... a tea bush would be a great addition for my mother's garden, since she loves black tea (I like it too, but I am definitely a coffee person). Do you think you can keep the plant in a big pot and overwinter it an a frost-free ... wintergarden? You know, a terace, but surrounded completely with windows. Man, me not speak no English. Not for harvesting tea, but for the fun of having a genuine tea-plant. Same reason why you grow an Olive tree.

Because I'm a southerner (American style) of Scotch Irish blend I would have to add a teaspoon of sugar or honey. Great video

What a great accomplishment and so encouraging that you're able to grow tea in Ireland! Thank you so much for making such a beautiful video and I look forward to more of your updates =)

oh, I just love a cup of herbal tea! I am going to have to borrow your idea of growing my own camellia sinensis. 😍

That looks wonderful. . Enjoy.

That's unbelievable . It would be even better without the milk. It's everyone's dream to grow their own tea. You must be the first in Ireland to grow Tea Trees.
