Dr. Joey Tolentino, a physician in the Philippines, is one of the growing number of professionals who heard about the System of Rice Intensification (SRI) through the internet and are trying out the methods on their "weekend farms." Dr. Tolentino got a yield of over 16 tons/ha during his first try using organic SRI methods. He is getting additional advice from the SRI-Pilipinas Network, which he is now a member of.
