Mr. Samir Kumar, Managing Director, Inventus (India) Advisors visited the IIIT Bangalore Innovation Center startups (from the I-INC & I-MACX programs) and shared his views and insights on how startups should pitch to a VC, and what VCs look for in a startup. Mr. Samir Kumar became a VC in 2001 when he joined Acer Technology Ventures - a $260 million institutional venture fund investing in technology and services companies in India, U.S. and Asia Pacific. Mr. Samir has been a Board Director at Cbazaar, InstaHealth, savaari.com, Sokrati and Telibrahma Technologies. Mr. Samir holds a BSEE from IIT Bombay and an MBA from IIM Bangalore. Inventus Capital Partners have financed and guided over 120 founding teams to dozens of successful IPOs or acquisitions, creating over $30 billion in aggregate wealth for founders and shareholders.
