Indian Coffee Ceremony, Adimali Kerala
Indian Coffee Ceremony prepared by tribal coffee farmers in Adimali, Kerala, with 100% washed Robusta coffee. These coffee farmers are members of the AOFG that tries to create a better coffee price by adding value threw organic and FT certification, and creating co-operations of the farmer groups. Amigos-International visited the Kerala coffee farmers and AOFG in order to advise in adding value to the coffee production chain in Kerala to investigate the changes and opportunities of producing locally roasted and packed coffee. Basically its the same concept although some of the equipment and procedures are different in Ethiopia. The major difference between this and the Ethiopian ceremony is the spiritual approach Ethiopians hold to this ceremony. There is a lot of detail about it online.
