India’s solar energy sector requires $100 billion investment: Sumant Sinha

Sumant Sinha is an Indian businessman. In 2010, he founded investment banking and consulting firm Savant Advisors and in 2011, he founded ReNew Power in Gurgaon. He is currently the Co-Chairman of Confederation ofIndian Industry (CII) committee on National Renewable Energy as well as theChairman of the Indian Wind Energy Association (IWEA), the apex body for wind energy industry in India, and a Founder Member of the Solar Power Developers’ Association. While interacting with Entrepreneur India on the eve of IVCA Conclave 2015, Sumant Sinha shared his views on the investment opportunity in the renewable energy space.
