See what some of TNC scientists shared on conservation opportunities in HK. In early November, TNC Hong Kong was honored to host 15 of our scientists from all over the globe, including lead scientist Heather Tallis as well as senior scientists Eddie Game and Jen Molnar, for a week-long series of workshops, fieldtrips, meetings and speaking engagements. The scientists are part of an internal training program called the Science Impact Project (SIP) that supports innovation, leadership, and communication for conservation success. SIP is one of the premier communications and thought leadership training programs in applied conservation science today. As part of their visit, the scientists did talks at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the South Island School and the King George V School. They also visited Kadoorie Farms, the HK Wetlands and HK’s only pearl farm. For some of the scientists, it was their first time in Hong Kong and the Asia Pacific, and they were amazed by the diversity of the city.
