Here's my latest adventure in capturing indigenous microorganisms (IMO) from the area surrounding our garden for the Nursing Pathway at Windward Community College. I got the directions from a Korean Natural Farming book by Master Cho and with some advice from my friend Dave. The goal is to use the microbes to improve the soil health and nutrient availability to the plants. I wanted to keep the video short and easy to understand so I did not include the info on the amendments I added to IMO III which are Oriental Herbal Nutrient, Fermented Plant Juice, Brown Rice Vinegar, and Makgeolli (Korean rice wine). I'm still pretty new to it all but its similar to other methods of composting I've done before.
