Hunting Dogs of India.
Traditional Indian breeds stole the show at the Mysore Kennel Club's 100th dog show in Bangalore. The sturdy indigenous dogs are unfortunately losing out to the exotic breeds.

These dogs are seeming to have No Balls, hybrid or non-reproducible dogs. Do not buy them, they are Against God and Nature who produce these dogs. Pet Real Indian dogs, Its long time now that I have seen any Dog as a family with lots of puppies and their love :( :(. God save this country from USA exploits.

These are just crossbreed dogs of Greyhound, Afghan hounds and Salukis plus a few others here and there. They're not Indian dogs, they're mutts my friend.

I wonder if they would hunt even better than their owners expect of their breed if they fed those dogs a bit more. Their dogs are skin and bone. How can they make such a generalization about foreign breeds being harder to maintain? We feed our dogs, so they are healthier and so therefore learn to expect a decent amount of food as compared to the ones in this video who are used to starving.
If they want to judge foreign dogs, then how about we ask them how often they feed theirs? Once a week? -
Thanks

benjamin fallix....for that we have himalayan dogs...Like Gaddi mastiff nd tibettan mastiff both are ancient breed....and are known for their strength... shefards still use them for hunting and protection from wild animals...like other indian dogs they can survive on a piece of bread too...And are easy to train nd handle...

I've had non-indian breeds fir last 15 yrs and they dont fare well in varied Indian conditions. Add to that the demand from prospective owners stunts their gene pool. Breeders convert them into cash machines. 2 yrs back I picked a TM subtype called gaddi from Himachal for free from a shepherd and ever since I've seen them adapt so beautifully to our conditions.
