How Wind Turbines Can Save America
Offshore wind farms can stop hurricanes, according to a recent study. We could also use them to power all of America. The study by Stanford researcher Mark Jacobson: http://news.stanford.edu/news/2014/february/hurricane-winds-turbine-022614.html Get your free audiobook from Audible.com: http://www.audibletrial.com/TheDailyConversation Subscribe to TDC: https://www.youtube.com/TheDailyConversation/ Like our page on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/thedailyconversation Join us on Google+ https://plus.google.com/100134925804523235350/posts Follow us on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/thedailyconvo Note: This is an enhanced repost of a video we made last year.

So i made it too . just by using inplix scripts:)

great video again... thanks for always sharing informative videos.. keep it up..
-
Im using inplix instructions to make it and I do it already :)

All of my eco tools I made with InpliX. Google and try it.

Climate change is a lie. Of course the climate is changing. It is always changing. but the way it is referred as a man caused problem is a total and absolute lie. How many years do we have to witness an absence of climate change problems before we face the truth we have been played?
Our ego is the only thing blinding us.

Why isn't Obama funding this? I only see a progressive president doing this. Republicans don't even believe in climate change.

I think that it would be better to build a huge wind turbine farm in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. That way we can generate electricity while not being close to humans or close to animals.
-
This sounds great. But isn't it a problem if the hurricane damaged the turbines? I should be very strong turbines.
-
the govt would rather spend that money on military
-
The choice is pretty clear, spend billions on seawalls or spend billions on wind farms that produce electricity. Pretty easy choice.
-
the only problem l see is that hurricanes don't always hit the same area. So there's no guarantee that this will always work

people are missing the point, there is someone called God, you might deny it , but that won't change a thing, keep trying to challenge God's punishment and prepare for the worst, you might get the permission to stop and control a tornado, but that's a part of the big picture, God wants to replace tornados with a worse punishment , people are sill puting so much hope in this life and in this world, you are so lost
-
dont do it man, you gonna slow down the earths rotation speed

I'm not against finding new out-of-the-box ways of thinking to resolve or mitigate problems and threats, but it's just as important to point out what the deployment of these wind farms is not good for, just as much as what they are good for (assuming that the results show a decline in wind power from a hurricane). It's also just as important to understand the impact this has on the environment. Usually a Hurricane (or tornado) is the result of an imbalance in the environment and the environment is auto-correcting itself. If we remove or reduce this auto-correction what will the cause be of the imbalance persisting? Also, if the imbalance is not corrected because we have removed the auto-correcting hurricane, will it cause a greater increase in the number or frequency of further storms. Also, what happens if the wind farm has a breakdown or failure. Will the locking feature of the turbine (locks into place during a failure to prevent further damage) cause any harm?
And just to clarify, for those who talk about wind farms killing birds, birds do not fly that far off the coast where these wind farms would be positioned. -
Tens of thousands ! mmmm so dose that mean no breezes on a hot day :)

While Hurricanes cause damage and can be dangerous for humans I actually think it's a good that they occur because they clean out all the old vegetation and allow new stuff to grow. Plus Hurricanes can track all over the place and can approach from different angles they amount of area they would need to cover would be huge and useless.
