Nicely made video. You have hit all the main points home gardeners need to know in order to successfully grow bulb onions and scallions (green onions). When planting onions from seedlings or starts we recommend the gardener avoids touching the roots as that can damage root hairs and delay or retard growth. Also, keeping onions well watered is closely associated with success.

Love the video! I have a question, I planted green onions from seeds almost 2 weeks ago. But they haven't sprouted. What can i do? Do i have to throw them away? Same happened to the tomatoes and peppers. Only my zucchini's sprouted and are growing nicely. Greetings from Curaçao!

Hi enjoy the videos, I wanted to find out about planting baby
store bought onions and if they will go to seed because they are a biennial
plant. I have small 1 inch white pearl onions. I prefer for them to go to seed
because from the seed I can grow the equivalent of welsh onions. I large green
head green onions. Do you think this plan makes sense and what are the chances
of success given your gardening experiences? -
Lots of great information. Thank you! This is my first year with a garden, and my onions are doing great. I planted them from sets.
