also a decent fish airpump with airstone into the tea brew bucket, this will increase microbe activity over the 24 hours of steeping. make sure its not brewed cold, warmer is better for superior bioactivity (not too hot, in the 70-80F range is good). look up the harvard compost tea master, they literally have a guy called that on their campus.. and harvard is not a bunch of dummies, I think we all agree :D

Chloramine is now being used instead of chlorine in drinking water supplies because of the EPA.
Chlorine will gas off, chloramine is much more stable and less likely to gas off.
Chloramine, being a disinfectant, will kill the beneficial bacteria in your compost tea.
Go to a pet store and get a product called Prime by Seachem.
Prime will make the water safe for beneficial bacteria. Only 2 drops per gallon so it is cost effective. Plus no waiting, start making your tea right after you add the Prime to your water.
Dr. Earth Vega and a little unsulfured molasses makes a great tea.
