I am almost positive mycorrhizal fungi is bullshit, at least the stuff you pay for. it's ubiquitous in our soil, many plants use it naturally. You want mycorrhizae in your potted plants? I'll show you how to do it in three simple steps.
1. Go outside and stick your finger in the dirt.
2. Stick the same finger in a pot of soil
3. Water.
Send me a check for a dolla. You're welcome. -
Super .

plants love blue mold, they can definitely get too much and it will hurt them, but just the right amount and things take off.

Hey SoCal everything looks awesome, i just started using great white its my first run using it, with subs super soil. ive been noticing that kind of web forming over the top. thats normal?

RULE #1
Feed the soil NOT the plants. -
read teaming with microbes....
-
The worm castings have bacterial microbes so how does this produce fungal microbes? Isn't that what the white growth is? Fungal?
-
What's the original source of your microbes?

Hey guys, I study fungiculture and am a mushroom grower.
You cannot grow mycorrhizae fungi without a host plant, the two work together to form a symbiosis. Any other fungi that doesn't rely on this relationship is not mycorrhizae.
Remember you have lots and lots of spores flying through the air. The hyphae you see there is unfortunately, not the one you are after.
The only way you can grow your own mycorrhizae is by utilizing proper spores that are mycorrhizae, which you can usually buy. If you are not using a host plant to grow these out, the only other way is in a sterilized lab infront of a laminar flowhood on an agar dish.
Sorry to be the bringer of bad news bro. -
I've heard brown rice will give you the same effect and adds a good source of bioavailable silica to your compost as well.

This is not mycorrhizal fungus, it is saprophytic fungi and every where present, it just degrading the organic matter in form of your oat meal, please know your stuff before you say lies to people
-
props for the grow. But spinosad. I was interested until I realized how much it negatively impacts bees. Stop killing the bees people!
-
oatmeal is ground .. oats are not .. make a YT viddy AFTER you know what you're talking about .. NOT before it.
